Field Monitoring in Pangasinan and Zambales Chapter

During the field monitoring in Pangasinan and Zambales, PATAMABA monitored the production of marinated milkfish and the extent of the communal garden in Pangasinan. Products such as camote chips from Zambales were also visited. In two chapters, Lila Store's condition is also discussed.

With eight ( MBOs, including PATAMABA, Trias Southeast Asia held its Annual Partner's Assembly and Project Launching for the years 2022-2026. Each MBO prepared a booth to display the products and services that it offers to its members.

In response to women to cope with the pandemic,  the right to food and security for the family, a communal garden was formed by PATAMABA San Carlos City Pangasinan chapter.

Strategic Assessment and Planning 2022

PATAMABA annual Strategic Assessment and Planning held in December 14-18, 2022 at Patar, Bolinao, Pangasinan attended by more than thirty (30) representatives from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. On this workshop, the participants developed a five year plan of action of the organization.

National SHA Forum in San Francisco Agusan Del Sur

KNH Philippines’ Self-helf Approach (SHA) Forum held on October 14-19, 2022. The learning sessions focused on the topics of participation in local governance brought about by Mandanas-Garcia ruling, convergence towards sustainability of People’s Institutions, addressing OSAEC/CSAEM issues, and partnership requirements.

PATAMABA Youth Leadership Symposium

November 30, 2021

The PATAMABA Youth was honored to have Atty. Chel Diokno as a special guest during their Leadership Symposium held on November 30, 2021. In his message, Atty. Chel Diokno challenged the youth participants to emulate the patriotism of Gat Andres Bonifacio and become modern-day heroes because they have the power to make change happen in society. PATAMABA Youth leaders also had the opportunity to interact with Atty. Chel Diokno through a Q&A which was capped by a group photo with all participants from different chapters of PATAMABA Youth in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Thank you for sharing this special day with us, Atty. Chel!

Launching of Lila Store

December 1, 2021

PATAMABA under its We Effect Program launched LILA STOREs last December 01, 2021 in Pangasinan project area in San Carlos City and Dagupan City, and on December 8, 2021 in Castillejos Zambales.  The aimed of the Lila Store is to help our members in recovering from the effects of COVID-19 Pandemic.
The store sells a maximum of five (5) Items per member at Php20.00 each of all kinds of basic items the member needed.  The Lila Store opens twice a month in three (3) project sites namely: Castillejos, Zambales, Dagupan City and San Carlos City in Pangasinan wherein the Municipal and  City Chapter leaders are the ones who are operating it.

Membership in Homenet International

June 9, 2021

HOMENET INTERNATIONAL (HNI) is a global network of membership-based workers’ organizations representing thousands of home-based workers (HBWs) around the world. In February 2021, 36 HBW organizations from 20 countries became the first affiliate members to join the organization, representing more than 600 000 HBWs. The network aims to achieve the following: raise visibility and gain recognition of home-based workers (HBWs) as workers, build and provide solidarity amongst HBWs around common issues and use the power of a global voice to influence governments and employers globally. The first Congress was held online (virtual congress). Lourdes A. Gula, PATAMABA National President is one of the members of the International Working Committee.

ERF/VSLA Released to Members

June 30, 2021

In support to COVID-19 Pandemic, Trias Philippines provided an additional funds to PATAMABA for Emergency Recovery Fund to Village Savings and Loan Associations (ERF-VSLAs) established by the organization in five (5) pilot areas namely Quezon City, Caloocan City, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Rizal and Bulacan

PATAMABA 11th Congress

May 5, 2021

PATAMABA 11th Congress and 31st Anniversary. This is the First Virtual Congress of the organization attended by 156 delegates from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The Congress was also attended by organizational partners, allied and networks from national and international levels who delivered their solidarity message including  International Coordinator of Homenet International, Ms. Janhavi Dave and Homenet Southeast Asia Regional Coordinator, Ms. Suntaree Saeng-ging, We Effect Country Director, Ms. Jessica Soto, Trias Southeast Asia Coordinator, Ms. Gudrun Cayturvels, Freelance Consultant Ms. Lucita Lazo, Dean Rosalida Ofreneo among others.

Formation of PATAMABA Housing Coop

June 22, 2021

1M Housing Project is part of the program under We Effect which started its social preparation, pre-registration seminar (PRS), and Pre-Membership Seminar (PMS) in the latter part of 2021 where 56 PATAMABA Housing Cooperative members attended the Pre-Registration Seminar and 18 PATAMABA Housing Coop Cooperators for Bahay’yanan attended CDA Mandatory training namely:  Fundamentals of Cooperative and  Governance and Management.
